KAB NSW Annual Conference

We are pleased to launch the KAB NSW Annual Conference for 2026, Each year, the Conference brings together councils, government agencies, researchers, community organisations, industry innovators and environmental practitioners who are working to create cleaner, healthier and more resilient communities across New South Wales.

Our 2026 theme, Beyond Litter: Circular Thinking, Real Impact, invites us to broaden the conversation – exploring the behaviours, systems, technologies and place-based approaches that shape the public spaces we share. Over two days, the program will highlight practical solutions, innovative models, and inspiring examples of collaboration that contribute to cleaner, safer and more liveable NSW communities.

We invite submissions that showcase new ideas, evidence-based programs, successful trials, research insights, or community-led initiatives that advance litter prevention, waste reduction, behaviour change, public space management or environmental sustainability.
